It was registered on February 25, 1931, to lend support and assistance to the poor Jews in Kaišiadorys. The society organizers were the shoemaker, Aron Feldman; retailers, Yochel Gurvich and Michel Gis. In elections tot the society`s management Raphael Beten was elected chairman; Aron Feldman, secretary; and Yochel Krans, treasurer. 1932 - 60 members (55 men and 5 women), 1937 - 64 members (60 men and 4 women), 1939 - 61 members (54 men and 7 women). In 1938, the society had income of 55,20 Litas from membership dues and 60 Litas from donations. At the beginning of 1938, the management was composed to the chairman, Yankel Gurvich, trader; vice-chair, Yankel Aronovich, trader; representative, Aron Yofan, rabbi; secretary, Elias Yudelevich, trader, and management member, Shimel Margolis, blacksmith.
