Additional information

The interim management was composed of pharmacist, Hirsh Levin; student, Moshe Vainer; electro-technician, Simche Tzirulnik; trader, Zusman Bliacher; and photographer, Daniel Vainer. In 1931, the Trakai district II chief of police became interested in the activities of this section. In his report he wrote that the society is working so-so. Records from December 31, 1931, show that the section had 11 member Jews (6 men, 5 women). The members read a periodical printed by the society named "Naujas kelias" (New Path). The management at the time was composed of Chaim Sheifer, president; Moshe Alper, secretary; and Nechama, daughter of Katz, cashier. At the beginning of 1938, it is written that the section did not function anymore.
